Mind Rooted in the Heart

Mind running amuck is lost in its own shenanigans. Monkey mind is not just troublesome, it is its own source of trouble. Monkey mind has run away with the plot of life, running away from its Master, like wild horses that have escaped the reins of its charioteer.

Monkey mind cannot solve the problems it has created and sustains, because it cannot find the clarity and wisdom needed in the middle of its frantic movements. It needs the help of a clear thinking intellect to step in and return the reins of the mind to its rightful Master.

What am I talking about here? I am referring to the lost heart-mind connection.

What is the heart-mind connection? Mind rooted in the heart. What does it mean?

Mind rooted in the heart is plugged into …
… Boundless power
… Eternal wisdom
… Crystal clarity
… Unconditional love
… Unchanging peace
… Causeless contentment
… Endless freedom
… Limitless abundance

Mind rooted in the heart is plugged into its original source.

Mind rooted in the heart is plugged into inner power, the true power.

Mind rooted in the heart is surrendered to the heart, and with that, the right Master is in the lead, and the mind merely an instrument of the true Master.

Mind rooted in the heart is free of limitations, and devoid of distortions.

From the mind rooted in the heart, creativity, compassion, courage, and strength flow effortlessly.

Mind rooted in the heart is the fruit of cultivating silence.

Mind rooted in the heart is ripe and mature when the realization runs deep that the source of the silence of the heart is the real YOU. The heart, the silence, the center of infinity, the core of eternity – these are merely pointers to the real YOU.

Ultimately, mind rooted in the heart is free of the illusion of individuality, it’s rooted in Reality, inseparable from it.

How to root mind in the heart?

Cultivate silence. The choice to cultivate silence is just the clear-headed conviction needed from the intellect that can see the immense troubles created by the monkey mind and its inherent disconnectedness with the heart. The silence of the heart is ever-present and unchanging. This cannot remain just knowledge, it has to precipitate as living experience. And that requires practice. A silence meditation practice. Steady practice makes it easy to root mind in the heart. Realizing the true nature of this silence of the heart, as one’s own true nature, makes rooting mind the heart effortless.

The journey to Silence begins in the silence of the heart.
